A nine-year-old undergoes a tricky operation to have a non-malignant tumour removed from her abdomen, and three-year-old Taha arrives at the new Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with an almond stuck up his nose. Among the walking wounded are 15-year-old Tony, who put his fist through a window after an argument with his mum, and nine-year-old Megan, who fractured a toe in a fight with her sister.
